Free dinner at Dec. 6 meeting
People who live, work or play in Bellevue are encouraged to attend the third and final community workshop focused on planning a Cross-Cultural Center without walls to deliver cultural programming and events throughout the city. The meeting will be Wednesday, Dec. 6, 6-8 p.m., at Sammamish High School.
During the workshop, staff will share findings from the first two community workshops, including key ideas generated from more than 125 participants. Organizations interested in hosting a cross-cultural event or program will learn how to submit proposals for projects and can start exploring partnerships and developing project ideas.
Dinner will be provided. Please register to attend.
This winter, local organizations will be invited to submit proposals for cross-cultural events and workshops that align with the priorities identified by the community in previous meetings. The city will prioritize funding for the projects that align most with community feedback. Hosted in various spaces, this programming will help determine what kinds of activities could be most valuable for the community and eventually housed in a dedicated building.
