    Published January 8 2014

On January 2, five suspects went to the Walmart in the Kelsey Creek neighborhood (15063 Main St.) looking for victims to rob. All five arrived in a van. The two female suspects waited in the van while the three male suspects loitered in front of the store and just inside watching shoppers.

Suspect 1 grabbed a male in his 50s as he was about to enter the store. The victim pushed the suspect away. Suspect 1 ran into the parking lot. A few minutes later, two female shoppers in their late 50s and early 60s exited the store. Suspect 2 approached them in the parking lot and asked to use their phone. Suspect 2 attempted to pull one woman's necklace off her neck. He then tried to grab the other female's purse and necklace off her neck causing her to fall to the ground. This victim bit his hand.

An unknown male shopper approached the scene and punched Suspect 2. Suspect 1 and Suspect 3 then appeared and assaulted the unknown male shopper as he tried to assist the victims. The suspects then fled the scene.

If anyone has any information or can identify any of the suspects or the van in the flyer, please contact Detective Jenny Robertson at 425-452-6050. Police would also like the unknown male shopper who acted as a good Samaritan to contact the Bellevue Police.
