The Bellevue Office of Economic Development and Sound Transit invite Bellevue businesses to learn about East Link light rail construction, consult with business resource partners and talk with city staff about key initiatives and projects at the Business Resource Forum on Nov. 14, 7:30-9:30 a.m., at City Hall.
The forum will provide a wide range of information that can help businesses better prepare themselves and their employees for the East Link construction that will begin in Bellevue next year. The program includes:
- Sound Transit to provide details on current and future East Link construction within Bellevue;
- City Economic Development and Sound Transit representatives to share resource information on how businesses can best cope with construction impacts;
- Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Bellevue Downtown Association and the city's Small Business Development Center to discuss ways businesses can mitigate local construction impacts;
- Sound Transit and "Choose Your Way Bellevue" commute trip planners to share transit options for employees; and
- Project managers for capital improvements, the BelRed Area Plan and the Grand Connection to answer questions about these city initiatives and projects.
Register for the forum or contact Marie Jensen, East Link Outreach for the city (425-452-2064 or mjensen@bellevuewa.gov).
Due to the anticipated attendance, parking at City Hall is not guaranteed. Modes of transportation, other than driving, are highly encouraged. You can use King County's Trip Planner or download the Trip Planner app.
