The City Council is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the city’s Arts Commission. Residents interested in serving are encouraged to apply online by Friday, May 23.
The Arts Commission advises the council on matters related to the arts, with the goal of enriching Bellevue’s cultural landscape and raising awareness of the arts within the community. The commission helps guide the city's Public Art Program, allocates funding to arts organizations working in Bellevue and supports citywide cultural planning. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m.
Commissioners are volunteers appointed by the mayor with the concurrence of the council and serve four-year terms. All applicants must be residents of Bellevue. The city values diversity and encourages residents of all backgrounds to apply.

For those who prefer not to apply digitally, paper copies can be picked up at the following locations: City Clerk’s Office or Service First at City Hall, Bellevue Regional Library, the Lake Hills Library or Mini City Hall.
