Why Participate?
- Maximize Incentives: Access funding from Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and other programs to offset the costs of implementing energy-efficient strategies.
- Lower Energy Bills: Improve building efficiency and electrify systems to save money long-term.
- Enhance Resident Comfort & Resilience: Improve indoor air quality and incorporate cooling for healthier, climate resilient buildings.
What We Offer
The City of Bellevue and its partners provide free professional services including:
- Integrative Design Workshops: Identify strategies to improve energy efficiency, lower utility bills, and create healthier indoor environments.
- Incentive Coordination: Assistance in securing incentives, grants, and other financing options.
- Energy modeling to support certifications, incentives and energy code compliance.
- Certification Assistance: Support in achieving third-party green building certification through LEED Building Design and Construction, International Living Futures Institute, or BuiltGreen.
Who Should Join?
This program prioritizes providing services to 100% affordable housing projects, with services available to a limited number of mixed-income developments with affordable units, located in City of Bellevue. Projects in predevelopment or schematic design phase will benefit most from the services offered.
