Any product that differs in quality or is inconsistent from the information provided below, may be eliminated at the event. Bellevue 4th of July staff and/or King County Public Health reserve the right to refuse any product that may deem inappropriate, or that was not disclosed and approved as a menu item on this list.

Please be price conscious when creating your menu & pricing. We understand you have a business to run, but reputation and fair pricing are important too. Based on previous applications, bottled water is generally priced at $2.00, soda at $3.00 and specialty beverages $5.00 - $8.00.


Agreement

Cancellations & Refund Policy

Cancellation of participation must be made in writing by contract signee via email or standard mail to City of Bellevue Parks & Community Services Department.

  • Cancellation received more than 60 days prior to the event: 50 percent of fees paid are refundable
  • Cancellation received 60 days or less: Fees paid are non-refundable

Any form of refund is refunded only to the contract signee. Fees cannot be transferred, sold, auctioned or gifted to any other person.

The City of Bellevue is not responsible for reimbursement of items purchased by renter in association with the scheduled event such as insurance, service charges, equipment rental charges, vendor supplies, permits or licensing fees, etc.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY/RELEASE. CAUTION. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. To the extent provided by law, in consideration of myself and/or my child(ren) being allowed to use City of Bellevue Parks & Community Services facilities and/or participate in City-sponsored activities, I assume all risks, including risk of injury or death, associated with my or my child(ren)’s use of said facilities and/or participation in said activities. I further agree on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, assigns, and personal representatives, to waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages, including attorney fees, I now, or may hereafter have, whether known or unknown, against the City of Bellevue and its officials, employees, and agents for any injuries suffered by me or my child(ren) in connection with the use of City facilities or participation in City-sponsored activities. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Waiver of Liability and fully understand that I am waiving any right that I may have to bring a legal action to assert a claim against the City of Bellevue for negligence, AND 

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE. I give my permission to have photos and/or video recordings taken of me or my child(ren) for publicity purposes during City of Bellevue activities, even though we will not receive compensation of any kind for appearing in such photos or video recordings. I have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted the conditions of the Waiver of Liability/Release and the Photo Release printed above.

FORCE MAJEURE. Force Majeure. In no event shall the City be liable to the Vendor for any costs, damages, or delay or deemed in breach or default for any failure or delay in performance under this Agreement by reasons of Force Majeure which make it impractical, impossible, or illegal for either party to perform its obligations. For the purposes of this Agreement, Force Majeure means an occurrence that is beyond the reasonable control of and without fault or negligence of the party claiming force majeure and which, by exercise of due diligence of such party, could not have been prevented or overcome. Force Majeure shall include but not be limited to poor air quality, inclement weather, natural disasters, including fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm, avalanche, mudslide, and other similar events; acts of war or civil unrest when an emergency has been declared by appropriate governmental officials; acts of civil or military authority; freight embargoes; epidemics; quarantine restrictions; labor strikes; boycotts; terrorist acts; riots; insurrections; explosions; nuclear accidents; and other similar events. A party claiming suspension or termination of its obligations due to force majeure shall give the other party prompt written notice, but no more than two (2) working days after the event, of the impediment and its effect on the ability to perform. The City is not obligated to pay Vendor for any costs relating to delays, cancellation of event, or termination of this agreement due to force majeure. Costs associated with delays in performance due to by force majeure are not compensable.

I, the undersigned, declare that the information contained in the foregoing application and any attachments is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the 2026 Bellevue Family 4th event including the 2026 Vendor Application and Information Package and all other applicable city, local, state, and federal codes, laws, policies and regulations. I further understand that knowingly providing any false information, failure to comply with any conditions of this application, or any violation of law may result in the denial of an application, immediate revocation or termination of vendor approval, and/or the denial of future applications.
