Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave NE

Description

In honor of the Day of Remembrance, a national recognition of the unjust internment of Japanese Americans during World War II, the Diversity Advantage Team invites our community to attend “Within The Silence,” presented by Living Voices.

Living Voices, based in Seattle, combines a live actor with archival footage to present key periods in history in a dynamic, interactive way. “Within The Silence” tells of the Japanese-American internment through the story of a teenager named Emiko.

The event will be held in the council chamber at City Hall. Register to attend.
