Bellevue Youth Theatre’s mission is to provide all young people the chance to connect, grow and shine regardless of different abilities and backgrounds through theatre productions suitable for the entire family. The spirit of BYT is to foster an environment of inclusivity, demonstrating that there is a place for everyone on both sides of the curtain. Visit the Bellevue Youth Theatre webpage to learn more about us.

    Volunteer at BYT

Join hundreds of adult and teen volunteers who contribute over 17,000 hours each year supporting the Bellevue Youth Theatre in positions ranging from hair and makeup to concessions or light and video operator.

BYT is a popular place for high school students to gain their volunteer service hours. We’re a Presidential Service Award Certified Organization, demonstrating that not only is BYT a place that teens feel comfortable and supported, but it’s where they chose to freely spend their time.

    Required of all ongoing volunteers:

    • Must be 13 years of age or older
    • Pass a City of Bellevue background check
