The City of Bellevue is committed to effectively communicating with all communities in Bellevue and maintaining a city brand identity in alignment with the values and needs of the community.
In 2025, the city asked community members to weigh in on how they feel about Bellevue and how they prefer to access information and engage with the city. This information supports achieving two of the 2024-26 Council Priorities identified and adopted by the council in 2024, council priority 2 and council priority 10.
Methods and Findings
Outreach efforts included focus groups, a community listening session and a survey open to the public. City staff, leadership and council also participated in sharing their feedback.
Findings from this outreach were compiled into a report, which was synthesized with key highlights presented to the City Council in October 2025. Members of the public can also explore the results from the community survey conducted.
Next Steps
As a result of the community feedback, an initial list of brand identity enhancement actions is being pursued in 2026. Further research and outreach may be conducted to assess additional or more extensive work that could require investments in later years. Progress on these actions will be shared with the council and the public through this page.
