Applications are now open for the 2025-2027 term of Bellevue's Youth Link Board of Directors, youth members.

The Youth Link Board promotes diversity, unity and equity for high school youth in Bellevue and represents the youth voice to leadership in our community; serves as a catalyst for responding to the interests and concerns of young people by engaging the entire community; and envisions Bellevue as a city where all young people are:

    • Involved
    • Valued
    • Respected
    • Listened to
    • Feel safe
    • Are safe
    • Can have fun!

Youth Link has been providing innovative youth leadership and community service programming for middle and high school students since early 1990’s. Youth Link’s main mission is to engage our city’s youth in civic leadership opportunities, community service, and provide a platform for youth voice and input as an advisor to the City Manager. Current board work includes addressing priorities such as youth mental health, transitional support, youth financial education and employment equity, environmental sustainability, and diversity, equity and inclusion related issues.

The Board is comprised of a minimum of six and maximum of 12 local high school youth AND six adult members from diverse backgrounds (including, but not limited to: race, ethnicity, religion, abilities, nationality, sexual orientation and/or socio-economic status).

We are currently looking to fill youth position vacancies for a two-year term (2025-2027). All levels of experience are welcomed, previous experience is not necessary. For any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our staff at YouthLink@bellevuewa.gov.

Thank you for your interest in the Youth Link Board. We appreciate your time and dedication to this application process.

Application deadline: Friday, May 30, 2025
    Interviews: TBD

This process relies on the availability of several individuals and other processes to complete the Youth Link Board member selection. We will make every effort to promptly inform all applicants of any changes to their application status.
