    COVID-19 information:

Utilities billing services continue to be open in limited capacity

In line with City Hall’s limited reopening to in-person services, Utilities will offer in-person support between 9 a.m. and noon for the following services:

    • Bill pay and billing questions
    • Utility Relief program support

All other services will continue to be provided via phone, email or appointment. We will update information about in-person service as availability changes.

Reopening businesses should flush water systems

To protect staff and public health, state and federal health agencies recommend flushing the plumbing system in buildings where there has been lower than normal water use before reopening. The Center for Disease Control and the Washington State Department of Health provide clear guidelines to perform proper water system flushing and cleaning to minimize the risk of bacterial growth. Visit our water quality page for more helpful resource links on building maintenance for safe reopening. Contact Bellevue Utilities’ Water Quality Office at 425-452-7840 or waterquality@bellevuewa.gov for help interpreting the guidelines. Staff are available 24/7 to help with water quality concerns.

    COVID-19 Utility Bill Support

As of Sept. 30, the Governor’s shut-off moratorium has ended. Starting January 1, 2022, accounts with past-due balances that do not have payment arrangements in place will be notified that they will now face late fees and potential service disconnection.

To request a payment plan for your water, sewer and drainage bill, contact 425-452-6973 or myutilitybill@bellevuewa.gov.

Information about the Emergency Assistance Program is available on the Utility Rate Relief page.

For other available financial resources, visit the City's COVID-19 Response and information pages.
