Water service has been restored as of 4 a.m. Monday, March 9, after a water main break in the area of SE 43rd St in the Somerset neighborhood. We appreciate everyone's patience as crews worked through the night to restore service.
- Thursday, March 12: Crews will go door-to-door to notify the 72 affected homes of follow-up work next week that will disrupt water service.
- Monday, March 16: Water service will be disrupted to the 72 homes to make system improvements that will help reduce the number of homes impacted by any future water events or maintenance work. There will be a detour in place with signage around the construction work on SE 43rd St.
- March 17–18: Crews will be doing related construction work near Somerset Blvd. The detour will remain in place through the duration of this work.
- March 18-26: Weather permitting, a paving contractor will restore the road surface. We truly appreciate the community's patience and understanding as we work to improve the reliability of the water system.
