    Birthday Parties 
    Kelsey Creek Farm offers a variety of party packages to make your child's day special. Parties are for children 2 to 11 years old.  All party packages are two hours long. Each party begins with a group activity led by a member of our farm staff and is followed by a one-hour room rental for cake and presents. The locations of the room vary with the type of party. All party room locations are indoor and include:

    • 3 preschool-height tables (6 feet long by 2.5 feet wide) with children's chairs
    • A refrigerator/freezer
    • Kitchen sink and trash cans
    • A restroom with hand-washing soap and paper towels

    Maximum capacity for all parties is 30 people and has been set to respect facility codes, the safety and well-being of the animals, and ensure guest enjoyment.  

    Birthday Party Fees: 

    • $200/resident and $220/non-resident for up to 10 children 
    • Fees for additional children are $10/each (maximum of five additional children) 

    Cancellation and Rescheduling Fees:
    If a party is cancelled, there is a $75 cancellation fee. If a party is rescheduled, there is a $15 fee. Rescheduling requires prior approval.

    BUNNY BIRTHDAY PARTY
    Celebrate your child's birthday by visiting the farm and meeting our friendly bunny. Enjoy a farm walk, a bunny craft, and special time with the birthday bunny.  Package includes bunny activities and a farm walk, followed by one hour of room rental. 

    FARM BIRTHDAY PARTY
    Celebrate your child's birthday with a visit to our historic farm. Make memories learning about sheep, rabbits, pigs, chickens and ponies. Package includes a farm tour, followed by one hour of room rental. 

    General Information about Farm Tours:

    • Tours are held rain or shine - Please have your group prepared for any type of weather. Dressing in layers will provide the maximum comfort for your group.

    Family and Friends Tour

    If you've always wanted a tour of the farm to meet our resident farm animals, this is your opportunity! You will get to meet our ponies, goats, chickens, and even pet some of them, all while discovering what it takes to be a farmer. This program is designed for children 2-6, but all ages are welcome. Each person that attends the tour must register and pay. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 2 years old will not be permitted to pet the animals.

    FARM TOURS FOR SCHOOLS AND GROUPS

    Contact Kelsey Creek Farm to schedule your tour: 

    Experience Kelsey Creek Farm with a tour designed specifically for groups. Tours are available on weekdays and are approximately one hour long.

    • Ages: Most tours are appropriate for children ages 2 years and older.
    • Fees: $90 for 15 or fewer people (children and adults).
      • Additional attendees: $6/child and $2.50/adult
      • Staff - free

    Kids on the Farm Group Tour
    Available in January - April
    Explore our farm with hands-on fun as you meet our goats, sheep, rabbits, chickens and ponies. Learn interesting animal facts, then move inside to experience the old-fashioned skill of wool carding. Children will create fuzzy sheep to take home.

    Springtime in the Barnyard Group Tour
    Available in May only
    Welcome springtime in the barnyard with a hands-on tour among our favorite animals.  Oink like a pig, befriend a goat, feed a cow, admire a chicken, plus more.  Learn about their care, then get dirty in the garden planting pumpkin seeds.  

    Fall at the Farm Group Tour
    Available in October only
    Experience harvest season in a traditional way. Visit a pony and a pig. Work on barn "chores" with child-sized pails and rakes. Tour the garden and pumpkin patch. Children finish up by choosing a pumpkin from our harvest-themed indoor pumpkin patch! Extra fee for pumpkins.

    Pioneer Days Group Tour
    Available in November only
    Imagine life in the 1880s in our authentic log cabin. Children participate in activity stations, learning to grind wheat and coffee, churn butter, hammer nails, pump water, play dress-up, and engage in more living history skills. Storytelling about pioneer life with Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books helps children compare their lives based on electricity and modern conveniences with the lives of Laura and Mary.
