    Bellevue Utilities and its partners offer a number of resources that enrich the lives of Bellevue students. These resources help students become active participants in their learning, as well as making for a healthier environment and community.

    Household Hazardous Waste and Safer Choices Activity Guides

    Learn how to keep your household safe with these at-home activity guides for grades 3-5 and 6-12 youth. Students will review how to identify safer household products, risks to look out for, and tips for poison-proofing their home and daily routines. Bellevue School District schools are eligible to receive interactive classroom workshops on this topic to help students stay safe and become savvy shoppers. Now students can engage in this topic at home too!

    Make every day Earth Day! The City of Bellevue and Bellevue School District created Green Genius At Home activity guides for grades K-5 and 6-12 youth. Bellevue School District schools have Green Genius teams to help conserve natural resources. Now students can be a Green Genius at home too.

Youth learn how to properly sort waste, follow the path of trash, make positive choices to protect the planet, and tap into their creativity with simple reuse arts and crafts. Bellevue School District elementary schools are eligible to receive theatrical assemblies and interactive classroom workshops on this topic to help students make informed choices to protect our planet. Now students can implement the 4Rs at home too!

    Powerful Choices at Home Activity Guides

    Powerful Choices Activity Guide Thumbnail

    Tweens and teens can rethink the ways they use and conserve water, as well as how they reduce, recycle, and compost at home! In these guides, youth take conservation quizzes and challenges, and powerful choices they can make in their daily lives. The City of Bellevue offers Bellevue schools water systems, ecosystems, and climate change classroom workshops. Now students can explore their own daily powerful choices and brainstorm with their family ways to generate less waste and conserve water at home.

    Grades K-1 Planet Protectors conservation coloring sheet (print version)

    Mother Nature invites you to discover the 3 Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (and the super C-Compost), and become a super sorter! Join the planet protectors and color these conservation strategies. The City of Bellevue offers Bellevue schools a theatrical storytelling program where Mother Nature has just come from around the world and along the way, she noticed that humans are using a lot of stuff and creating a lot of garbage. She invites students to join her as planet protectors and help solve the problem. Now young students can continue this learning at home with this conservation coloring sheet.
