The Northwest Arts Center provides year-round recreation and art-focused programming for all ages. Programs include: fitness, music, dance, martial arts, pottery and a wide variety of art programs. The 3,880 square-foot community center features multi-purpose meeting rooms and dance/art studio for rentals, community events, birthday parties and facility rentals. Off of Bellevue Way, on Northeast 24th Street, NWAC is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking.
Free Fitness Classes early January!
Start the new year with movement that feels good. Northwest Arts Center and Bellevue Main Club are offering free fitness classes from Monday, Jan. 5 to Saturday, Jan. 10, giving you a chance to sample programs and find the right fit for your routine.
Classes include:
- Jazzercise (Monday, Thursday, Saturday) at Northwest Arts Center
- Tai Chi Chen Style Workshop (Monday) at Bellevue Main Club
- Yoga Mixed Levels (Tuesday) at Northwest Arts Center
- Senior Fitness 55+ (Wednesday) at Bellevue Main Club
- Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Mindful Movement (Wednesday) at Northwest Arts Center
- Weight Training and Fitness (Wednesday) at Northwest Arts Center
- Yogalates Stretch and Strengthen (Thursday) at Northwest Arts Center
Paint and Sip at the NWAC
Join us for a relaxing and creative evening at our monthly Paint & Sip Nights, held on the last Friday of each month, January through June. Create your own 12" x 16" acrylic painting guided step-by-step by an instructor. No experience needed, just bring your creativity!

Inclement Weather Plan
In the event of inclement weather, the City of Bellevue Parks & Community Services Department will make every effort to clearly communicate the status of facilities and programs, scheduled special events, and rentals. Administration will make an operational decision based upon the safety of participants and employees and the ability to appropriately staff programs and facilities.
Some facilities may open on a modified schedule for drop-in activities. Call us at (425) 452-4106 for an updated status report. If you are unable to reach our facility, then call the Parks & Community Services Department general information number at (425) 452-6885 or visit the Parks homepage.
Inclement weather can affect park use and trail conditions. Please use caution when visiting park sites during poor weather as trails and other park facilities may become wet and slippery. Park trails may also be closed.
