Adopted in 2004, the Cultural Compass: A Strategic Vision for the Arts & Culture is Bellevue’s cultural development plan and a road map for how to build Bellevue’s cultural sector and turn Bellevue into a cultural hub. The plan provides direction in the areas that impact cultural vitality, from nonprofit organizations and artists to cultural diversity to public art and more.
Now, after major cultural and demographic changes in the community, the city is assessing Bellevue's cultural needs and working to refresh the vision for the arts.
