    Adult Sports Leagues

Adult Sports Leagues are back in play!

Parks & Community Services offers adult basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball and women's volleyball leagues three times a year – for winter, spring and fall seasons. To provide something for everyone, the city offers several levels of play, ranging from recreational to highly competitive.

The women’s basketball league is part of the Eastside Women’s Basketball League operated in cooperation with Redmond Parks & Recreation.

Games and matches are played in some of the nicest gyms in the area at various Bellevue Parks and Bellevue School District locations. The gyms are easy to get to, well-maintained, with quality equipment. The leagues are supervised by Parks staff; basketball is officiated by trained members of the Pacific Northwest Basketball Officials Association while volleyball is self-officiated.

Teams can register online during open enrollment for the next scheduled league. Registrations are also accepted by mail, fax and walk-in.

Not on a team? A list of interested players is maintained and made available to team managers looking for additional players. For additional information and registration packets, email Leagues@bellevuewa.gov or call 425-452-4479.

In case of inclement weather, please see the Parks & Community Services main page for updated closure information.

    Inclement Weather Plan

Call 425-452-4479 before travelling to Adult Sports League activities to ensure the facility is open.

In the event of inclement weather, the Parks & Community Services Department will make every effort to communicate the status of facilities and programs, special events and rentals. Administration will decide whether to cancel a program or close a facility based upon the safety of participants and employees and the ability to appropriately staff programs and facilities.

As a general rule, if the Bellevue School District is closed due to a weather event, Parks & Community Services Department classes and programs will be cancelled for the entire day. If the Bellevue School District is on a delayed schedule, call the facility for an updated status report. Select facilities may be open for drop-in activities at a modified level. If you are unable to reach the facility, call the Parks & Community Services Department's general information number at 425-452-6885. Inclement weather can affect park use and trail conditions. Please use caution when visiting park sites during poor weather, as trails and other park facilities may become wet and slippery. Park trails may be closed.

    Adult Softball
Men's and coed adult softball is played on Bellevue's parks, with management and coordination by BBSAA, a private, nonprofit organization. BBSAA has details, or you can email info@bbsaa.org.
