    Nature and Environment

As a "city in a park," Bellevue offers the community many nature-oriented experiences and resources. Take a walk on a trail, visit one of Bellevue's farm stands or, when we reopen, stop by a visitor center and talk with a park ranger!

Kids can earn a Junior Ranger Badge!
Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to inspire your children to connect with nature?  Stop by the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center, Lake Hills Greenbelt Ranger Station, or Lewis Creek Park Visitor Center to pick up our Junior Ranger booklet, or view the booklet online.  There are more than 15 activities you and your child can do together to explore and learn about Bellevue's natural areas.  Once you have completed the activities, return the booklet to any of the three locations and receive your very own Junior Ranger Badge.
