    Docent
    Lead tours of the Garden. Stroll the Garden with visitors and share interesting information about the Garden and its history. Training classes are provided annually. To learn more, please email us.

    Trillium Store
    As an ambassador of the Garden, greet visitors when they first arrive at the Garden. Assist shoppers, work as a cashier, and provide inventory support.

    Special Event Support
    Help ensure the Garden’s special events run smoothly and safely. Assist visitors, patrol the grounds, and support garden staff with operational duties.

    Garden Beautification
    The Garden beautification team meets for two hours on Saturdays to help clean signs and benches and pick up trash as we make our way through the Garden.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy the whole Garden, while making an impact

    Event Hospitality
    Help plan and execute a wide range of community-building and fundraising events, including annual events such as Mother’s Day, Arts in the Garden, and Garden d’Lights, as well as one-time events.

    Event Support
    Greet visitors to the Garden, sell tickets, and provide special event support.

    Children’s Programs
    Assist with botany-related educational opportunities for children ages 3 to 12 years, including Living Lab, Kids in the Garden, and Scouts programs.

    Adult Education
    Help design, coordinate and host our adult education programs. Identify and recruit speakers on a broad range of gardening and garden-related topics. Requires monthly meeting.

    Garden Beds
    Assist Garden grounds staff and partner volunteers in creating, planting, pruning, weeding, and maintaining beds. Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00-11:00am.

    Waterwise Garden
    Participate in a work party with Bellevue Utilities on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, spring to fall.

    Perennial Border
    Work with the Northwest Perennial Alliance every Thursday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.

    Rock Garden
    Work with the NW American Rock Garden Society on Wednesdays from 10:30 AM-12:30 PM

    Build & Repair Team
    Renovate and repair existing displays, build new ones, and plan displays. Sit alongside “veterans” to learn how to build a light display.

    Installation & Take Down Team
    Participate in set-up, installation, light maintenance, and take down of displays from the last week of October until the Monday of Thanksgiving week. Take-down is the first week of January.
