About Stewardship Saturdays:

Stewardship Saturdays are held on one Saturday each month, hosted by Bellevue Parks & Community Services. They're the perfect way for all sorts of organizations to get involved in the management of their local natural resources. Our volunteer projects are tailored to meet the needs of an individual group.

Volunteers will plant trees and shrubs, restore trails, and remove noxious weeds in Bellevue parks. At Stewardship Saturdays, volunteers work in groups, and the City encourages people to form groups before signing up for a Saturday project. Individuals can still participate, after being assigned to a group. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. (i.e. 1:1 ratio) and cannot be left unattended with city staff if the project ends early.

Please bring sturdy shoes or boots, work gloves, water, layers of comfortable clothing, long pants, and rain gear (if necessary). Volunteer events will be held rain or shine, but may be cancelled if severe weather conditions are forecasted. Each volunteer must sign (or have signed by their parent or legal guardian) a liability waiver.

For more information, please email the park rangers:
