    Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Bellevue City Hall 

    Preregister for the event here. Registration and workshop confirmation will be emailed.  Registration opens April 3 and closes on Friday, April 14.

    Workshop #1 (11:00-11:45 am) - May be assigned another workshop if full
    Christian Paige (speaker workshop) - learn and practice how to navigate conversations about race mindfully and effectively. If we do not learn to listen effectively, we cannot lead effectively. In this workshop, you will learn tools to help you do both.
    Learn ways on how to talk about a topic that we don't often talk about - our mental health. Practice mock conversations to help you prepare, engage, and help others in need. You'll also learn about resources and new technology that helps you navigate support.
    Learn about basic youth finance and money management. Youth financial education is important to help you not only manage your current financial needs but prepare for your future.
    Learn about how the City of Bellevue is managing change and building for the future now with you in the center! This interactive workshop will share examples of current projects and how your input is important.
    Learn about student led environmental sustainability work, projects, and other efforts happening in our city and in the world! Hear examples of small ways that you can make that has big impact in helping our planet.
    Panel discussion with current high school students on navigating high school life from academics to social life (for middle school students only)
    Panel discussion about life after high school from managing college and career options to balancing young adult life (for high school students only)
    Workshop #2 (11:55 am-12:40 pm) - May be assigned another workshop if full

    Discuss and explore current tech trends relating to technology that’s also helping solve current social issues. Compassion8innovation.org will provide fundamental information regarding emerging technologies and provide examples of how new tech development support and address current social problems.
    Box lunch sandwich options (includes chips, cookie, and water). Light breakfast and snacks will be provided. If you have dietary restrictions, please contact us.
