    Going Places: The Great Race 
    Inspired by characters in the book Going Places, by Peter and Paul Reynolds, campers are immersed in real world challenges and hands-on fun. This week, campers join characters Maya and Rafael collaborating on the most amazing and imaginative go cart anyone has seen. We engineer unique racers, learn about propulsion, experiment with simple machines and design a challenging racecourse. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Masks are optional.

    Going Places: Krazy Kinetic Parade 
    Inspired by characters in the book Going Places, by Peter and Paul Reynolds, campers are immersed in real world challenges and hands-on fun. This week, characters Maya and Rafael create the Going Places Creative Problem-Solving Agency, based at the Eureka Public Library. Their challenge this week is to make the Eureka Town parade spectacular by building a kinetic parade float. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle. Masks are optional.

This week, characters Rafael and Maya build an app that matches cute shelter animals to loving families. Characters Maya and Rafael create solar powered lamps for hurricane victims who have no access to electricity. Campers investigate alternative forms of energy and have some fun with the sun. In Ocean Rescue, Maya and Rafael invent the PlasticSuperScooper3000 to extract hazardous trash from the ocean. Campers become marine biologists with a mission to protect the wildlife that lives in our oceans. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.

    Going Places: Take the Show on the Road 
    Inspired by characters in the book Going Places, by Peter and Paul Reynolds, campers are immersed in real world challenges and hands-on fun. In this week, Rafael and Maya design a movable theatre to put on plays for the seniors around town. Campers write, direct, choreograph, stage and promote our own productions. We also design and build a scale theatrical set model like the pros. The week culminates in a theatrical presentation. Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.

    Froglegs Culinary Academy

    Froglegs Culinary Academy: Willy Wonka’s Candyland
    If your dreams include chocolate rivers, magical cobblestone paths made out of gumdrops and billowing clouds made out of marshmallow and cotton candy…well…we are about to make your dreams come true.  This class combines the best of both worlds…a bit of savory and a lotta sweet. Each class we will make a scrumptious lunch and we’ll also learn, create, make and taste our way thru Candyland. Each day there will be something new and yummy to inspire your sugar filled fantasy. Bring a lunch/water bottle, masks are optional. This camp is for middle school youth.

    Froglegs Culinary Academy: The Great Outdoors
    We’ve loaded up the car and filled it with everything we need for a culinary campout. We’ll take a walk on the wild side in this camp as we will explore all the fun things that a camping/road trip/trek outside can add to your life. We are planning on plenty of s’mores, “campfire” cooking such as a cozy cabin mac-n-cheese, griddle cakes, pasta and more. One thing is for certain- a great time will be had by all (camp does not include the fresh scent of pine trees or bear sightings). Bring a lunch/water bottle, masks are optional. This camp is for middle school youth.

    Froglegs Culinary Academy: Harry Potter – Welcome to Frogwarts 
    Leave the Muggle world behind and enter the magical delicious doors of FrogLegs, where your Wizardy Adventure is about to begin. You may be assigned an owl and you will surely find your “house” with our Sorting Hat Cupcake. The fun is just about to begin as we recreate some of the Harry Potter Hogwarts traditional favorites, then wield our magic wands as we cast simmering spells on wonderful wizardy magic treats. A glimpse of what we will make will be Chimera Cinnamon Rolls, Potter Pasta Primavera, Quibbler Quiche and a trip to FrogWarts would not be complete without a visit to Honeydukes’ Candy Parlor!  Bring a lunch/water bottle, masks are optional.  This camp is for middle school youth.

    GREAT Camp

    GREAT Camp: Alice in Zombieland
    Alice’s classic story is told as a mystery/adventure. ZOMBIES are taking over Wonderland! Join familiar characters as they race to find the truth. Youth will get the full theatre experience, auditions to performance. They will be taught basic theatre in a recreational setting and no prior theatre experience is required. Wrap up the week with a performance for friends and family on Friday. Check in at Bellevue Youth Theatre. Camp is for middle school youth, going into 6th grade in fall of 2023. Bring a lunch/water bottle.
