Drop-In Activities

All Drop-in Programs and Activities at Crossroads Community Center are FREE and require no prior registration. We partner with many organizations in Bellevue to offer diverse programming for all ages and backgrounds. Our goal is to make connecting with the community easy and fun for everyone. Enjoy Crossroads' Gym for 90 minutes of independent play with access to tons of children's toys such as bikes, cars and sports balls.

Have fun singing songs, telling stories, reading books, creating art and playing.  Kaleidoscope Play & Learn is offered in English, and the facilitator is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Please join us for an hour-long interactive story time put on by the King County Library System in multiple languages! Enjoy early literacy fun with books, songs, finger plays and body movement. Seating is limited. First come, first seated.

Dream Hoops Basketball

This weekly class will provide both resources (practice tests and worksheets) and intensive tutoring by a teacher who scored in the 99th percentile on these exams.  Through this class, students will be one step closer to receiving the scores that they wants on the SAT or ACT. 

This volunteer-run program is offered by Sammamish High School students. Come have a fun night with: Robototes Competition Robot, Lego Mindstorms and various STEM crafts and activities. 

Join us for free science, technology, engineering and mathematic workshops for young adults. Foxbot Industries takes an arts-based approach to STEM education, helping you learn how to use these subjects as tools to explore and build the things YOU want!  Enjoy a different workshop each time.

Each month, ideaX: STEAM Club explores avenues of creativity in the arts and sciences. The Crossroads and Lake Hills STEM CLUB meets the second Friday of each month during the school year. Space is limited. First come, first seated.

The English Language Learners Alliance (ELLA) holds an Intermediate Level class at Crossroads Community Center. All are welcome, no registration required. Topics covered will be useful information for living in the United States: healthcare, shopping, using the post office, and more. Want to join a book group?  Join us on the first Thursday of each month to discuss a book. Books selected can be requested from the King County Library System with a library card.  Book suggestions are welcome! A librarian will join us to lead the group, and coffee will be served.
