    If you are interested in meeting your neighbors, learning more about preparedness, or are looking for a way to give back to your community, consider joining one of our volunteer groups! From community emergency response to communications support, our groups are made up of wonderful community members passionate about the resilience of our community. We always welcome new helping hands.

    Citizens Corps Council

    Citizen Corps Council members create strategies for outreach projects, assist with EOC activations, and help administer the following programs: Map Your Neighborhood, Community Emergency Response Team and Bellevue Communication Support Group.

    Bellevue Communications Support

    Bellevue Communications Support members provide auxiliary communications support to Bellevue agencies served by NORCOM during emergencies.

    Community Emergency Response Team

    Community Emergency Response Team is a federal program which prepares citizens for hazards. Bellevue's CERT is an eight week program which delivers a series of units on disaster preparedness. Bellevue CERTs are involved in outreach events and emergency and non-emergency activations.
