If you are interested in meeting your neighbors, learning more about preparedness, or are looking for a way to give back to your community, consider joining one of our volunteer groups! From community emergency response to communications support, our groups are made up of wonderful community members passionate about the resilience of our community. We always welcome new helping hands.

    Bellevue Communications Support

Bellevue Communications Support members provide auxiliary communications support to Bellevue agencies served by NORCOM during emergencies.

    Community Emergency Response Team

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is a federal program which prepares citizens for hazards. Bellevue's CERT delivers a series of units on disaster preparedness, medical, psychology, terrorism, ICS organization, search and rescue, and fire safety. Bellevue CERTs are involved in outreach and training events.

Map Your Neighborhood (MYN), a state-sponsored program from Washington State Emergency Management Division. MYN's goal is to get homes in each neighborhood block to plan for and respond to emergencies together.
