Residents who need FREE HELP with outside home maintenance can apply for assistance from a team of volunteers who will complete one-day projects through the Jubilee in the Community (previously named “Day of Sharing and Caring”) program.
Jubilee in the Community is in its 17th year as a partnership between the City of Bellevue and Jubilee REACH, a Bellevue-based nonprofit. The last date to submit a request for help is May 31. At least 20 homes will receive improvements.
Jubilee REACH will review applications and select projects. To be considered for this opportunity, residents must own and occupy their Bellevue home. Home selection is need-based, and residents facing financial or other life challenges are encouraged to apply.
Past projects have included yard clean-up, power washing, fence/gate/shed repair and painting, plant, tree branches and junk hauling, wood-round removal and bark spreading.
Residents can request more information, learn about resources for homeowners and begin the application process by contacting Neighborhood Outreach (neighborhoodoutreach@bellevuewa.gov or 425-452-4295).
