On Tuesday, April 23, Mayor John Chelminiak gave the 2019 “State of the City” presentation to a 200-plus crowd at Meydenbauer Center. The annual event is hosted by the Bellevue Downtown Association.
The address highlighted how Bellevue’s intentional planning, focus on creating community and bold policies set it up to be one of the world’s most desirable places to live and work. Deputy Mayor Lynne Robinson was also scheduled to participate but had to cancel due to a family emergency.
“In case you were wondering, the state of the city is awesome,” said Chelminiak.
