Description
"Shades of Brilliance" presents Black excellence, displaying powerful and exceptional works from Black artists in a time when Black people's humanity and ability to succeed is often in question. These pieces of protest art break negative stereotypes, making these artists' existence the most powerful act of resistance against systemic racism, economic oppression and police brutality.
Shades of Brilliance, sponsored by Elevate PR Management, is included in the city calendar because a special event permit has been issued.
