What's New
- 2026-2030 Sustainable Bellevue Environmental Stewardship Plan Update: The ESI team launched our 2026-2030 Sustainable Bellevue Plan update with City Council on Oct. 29. Guided by our new greenhouse gas emissions reduction target of 95% by 2050 in the Comprehensive Plan, the city will focus on updating the Plan’s strategies and actions to meet our 2030 goals and beyond. There will be many opportunities to engage on the plan update throughout the process, which will conclude in fall of 2025. Please visit Engaging Bellevue and subscribe to our Newsletter to ensure you don't miss an update.
- Sustainable Bellevue Townhall and Plan Launch: The Townhall is one of many opportunities for engagement throughout the plan update process. Join us in person on Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 5:30-7:00pm for an opportunity to hear about our climate and sustainability progress to date, engage in the plan update, ask questions, and help shape the future of sustainability in Bellevue. Register(External link).
- EV Roadmap: The Environmental Stewardship team is excited to share the EV Roadmap with our community! The Roadmap is a plan to prepare Bellevue for more EVs and EV drivers, provide public EV charging to those who do not have access at home, and increase public charging in areas of the city that need it the most. The Roadmap project was launched in fall of 2023, and developed with input from community members and key stakeholders over the winter and spring of 2024. For more information on input from the public, please read the EV Roadmap Engagement Report. Join us online Nov. 13, 6-7 p.m. for a deep dive into the EV Roadmap and a chance to ask questions.
