What You Can Do
At our new website - GreenWA.org - residents can learn how Bellevue and partner organizations are working to lessen their environmental footprint and how residents can do their part. GreenWA features interactive maps, videos and educational pieces showcasing best practices for thinking globally and acting locally.
Residents can cut greenhouse gas emissions and conserve energy at home without going to a lot of trouble. The City of Bellevue also offers tips with the help of a mascot for environmental stewardship, the Carbon Yeti.
In the "Smaller Footprint Pledge" book, the cartoon Bigfoot shows ways to save energy in and around one's home. The Carbon Yeti has an interactive house with related games too.
