On Oct. 25, 2010, the City Council appointed a citizen advisory committee to guide city staff working on this project and to advise the Planning Commission, Transportation Commission and City Council concerning the initiative. The CAC's work will include the development and evaluation of land use concepts for the Eastgate/I-90 corridor and transportation measures to support those concepts.

The CAC will bring broad, multiple perspectives to the planning process, and will be guided in its work by a set of Council-adopted Planning Principles and a committee Charge. The work of the CAC will culminate with a final report summarizing its recommendations to the council.
