Bellevue Downtown Park
Address: 10201 NE Fourth St.
Celebrate the Bellevue Family 4th of July at the Downtown Park!
Construction: See Complete the Circle and Inspiration Playground Projects for details.
The City is working with Ohno Construction to start the construction on both the Complete the Circle and Inspiration Playground projects on July 11. Construction is anticipated to be complete in June 2017. During the construction period, the southern half of the Downtown Park will be closed to public access. However, the existing southeast parking lot will be accessible for use (at a decreased capacity) until the new 100th Avenue NE lot is finished. The parking lot along 100th Avenue NE will only be temporarily closed to public access. There will also be intermittent closures of the northern half of the Downtown Park as improvements to the lighting and promenade are performed.
Park Rental Information
Hours: Dawn to 11 p.m.
Amenities: An approximately 21-acre oasis of green in the heart of Bellevue defines this elegant centerpiece of the Bellevue Parks System. A one-half mile promenade, bordered by a double row of shade trees, and a stepped canal, brings one to the 240-foot wide waterfall that cascades into a reflecting pond. A ten-acre lawn area invites one to pause for a picnic with Bellevue’s skyline and Mount Rainier in the background. The park’s delightful play area and formal gardens add to family enjoyment and serve as a backdrop for community events.
Memorial Benches: Currently, we are not accepting applications for memorial/donation benches at the Downtown Park. If you are interested in donating a bench at another City of Bellevue park, please contact Parks & Community Services at 425-452-6855 for more details.
