Whole Foods Market in Bellevue will collect used bicycles Saturday to be shipped to primary school children in Togo, Africa.

Bring your old, unwanted bicycles (in any condition) to Whole Foods (888 116th Ave. NE) between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12.

You can learn how to maintain and safely ride the bikes you're keeping too, with bike experts from Cascade Bicycle Club on hand to offer bike safety tips and tire and tube-changing lessons.

Alaffia offers more details about the Bicycles for Education project. Cliff Bar and Alaffia, cosponsors of the event, will offer giveaways.
