|Major impacts this week: Three lanes of westbound I-90, between Bellevue and Mercer Island, will be closed from Friday, July 18, at 9:30 p.m. until Friday, July 25, at 5 a.m. as crews replace two bridge expansion joints on the East Channel Bridge. The lane closures will affect many of Bellevue's key on-ramps to westbound I-90. The best times to travel will likely be before 6 a.m., between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and after 7 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to make alternate transportation plans in advance. UPDATED - Lane Closures: NE 4th Street at 116th Avenue NE: Crews are working on the first stage of an extension of NE 4th Street. Expect intermittent lane closures and truck traffic weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
UPDATED - Lane Closures: Factoria Boulevard SE, SE 31st Street to SE 41st Place: Crews will be grinding off the old roadway in preparation for new asphalt starting Mon., July 21 through Thur., July 24, from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be reduced down to one lane in each direction on one side of the median barrier. Paving will occur the following week with similar hours and traffic impacts. There may be times of limited access to businesses and side streets until work progresses past the access. Use alternate routes if possible. Please obey the flaggers and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
Lane Closures: 120th Avenue NE, NE 4th Street to NE 7th Street: Crews are at work on the roadway project. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Expect lane closures and restricted access to NE 5th, 6th and 7th Streets.
Lanes Reduced: Coal Creek Parkway, Forest Drive to SE 60th Street: The Parkway is reduced down to two lanes, one lane for each direction, on the west side of the parkway while the second half of the new Coal Creek bridge is built, and other project work progresses. The city plans to complete the project in October, when all four lanes will reopen. Expect delays and use alternate routes if possible.

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND PRIVATE UTILITY WORK: Drivers and pedestrians should anticipate periodic lane and/or sidewalk closures and delays at these locations:
o 120th Avenue NE near NE 12th Street (Spring District development): There may be periodic traffic control measures including lane adjustments weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
o 124th Avenue NE near NE 12th Street (Spring District development): There may be periodic traffic control measures and lane adjustments for utility work.
o NE 2nd Place and NE 3rd Place between 110th & 111th Avenues NE (Marriott Hotel): NE 2nd Pl., NE 3rd St., and 111th Ave NE will have traffic control and intermittent lane closures.
