Stewardship Saturday: December 8
Saturday, December 8 2012 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Lewis Creek Park and Visitor Center, 5808 Lakemont Blvd. SE. Ages 12 and up, children must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must pre-register. Please bring loppers, pruners and shovels if you have them. Remember to dress for the weather!

Primary Responsibilities:
Plant trees and shrubs, restore trails and remove invasive plants in City parks. For Stewardship Saturdays, volunteers work in groups, and the City encourages people to form groups before signing up for a Saturday projects. Individuals can still participate, after being assigned to a group. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Please bring shears, loppers or pruners. Also, sturdy shoes or boots, work gloves, water, layers of comfortable clothing, long pants, rain gear (if necessary). These are rain or shine events.
