Sports Field Improvements

The city expanded capacity for the sports fields at Robinswood Park when it installed synthetic turf there. To improve safety and play at Wilburton Hill and Newport Hill parks, the city will install synthetic turf on the sports fields at those parks too. The turf installations are funded through the 2008 voter-approved Parks & Natural Areas Levy. Both projects are scheduled to be under construction by fall 2009/winter 2010.
