Bellevue residents are invited to a public reception to meet the four finalists seeking to become Bellevue's next Planning and Community Development director.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 16, 4 to 6 p.m., at City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE downtown. The public will have the opportunity to join business and other community leaders who have been invited to meet and talk with the candidates, as well as provide feedback on each. The four finalists are participating in a series of panel interviews and other recruitment activities. Each is seeking the opportunity to fill the post last held by Matt Terry, who retired in May after 30 years of service. Currently, Dan Stroh is serving as interim PCD director until a replacement is selected. City Manager Steve Sarkozy expects to make a hiring decision in October.
