July 17 - Tonight's movie ("Happy Feet 2") will be shown at the Downtown Park as planned. Please bring something waterproof to sit on, and we look forward to seeing you at the park!

The Parks & Community Services Department presents free outdoor movies with popcorn at Bellevue Downtown Park this summer. Grab a blanket, a lawn chair, family, friends, neighbors or coworkers, and head to the park. Sponsored by inome, films will be shown under the stars on a huge, 40-foot inflatable screen with a state-of-the-art projection and sound system.

The eight-week series begins Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Activities begin at 8 p.m. before each movie, so come down early, stake your ground and have some fun. Movies begin at dusk (around 9 p.m.). Movies are family-friendly and carry a PG rating. Support a great cause; each movie night is themed with a different charity. Please bring suggested donated items to support the organization of the night.

Location - Bellevue Downtown Park, 10201 NE Fourth St. Park at Downtown Park's parking lots, Chase Bank (on Northeast First Street), Alvin Goldfarb Jewelers (on Bellevue Way) and available street parking.
In case of inclement weather, movies will be held at the South Bellevue Community Center, 14509 SE Newport Way.
