Project Implementation
The Neighborhood Enhancement Program is designed to build projects the neighborhood supports and to build a sense of community. Therefore, citizen involvement does not end with the voting. Once the voting is complete:
- All residents who participated in the process are notified of the voting results
- All residents are invited to provide input regarding the selected projects and the general NEP process
The public involvement process for each project is at the discretion of the implementing department. Each project is unique, requiring different input from the community. One implementation objective is to complete each project before the next three-year NEP cycle begins in the area. Minor modifications in project scope may occur during this design process, but the completed project must meet the original intent of the proposal.
