MLK Day celebration at Crossroads

Eduardo Mendonça of Show Brazil (Photo courtesy of Show Brazil)"Celebration of a Dream," a tribute to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. featuring live music and a health fair, will be on Monday, noon to 3 p.m., at Crossroads Bellevue.

Performers, including Show Brazil and the Sonny Byers Band will play on the Market Stage for the free event. Crossroads Bellevue is located at 156th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Eighth Street.

Health Fair
The health fair will include more than 20 representatives from nonprofit and public agencies in King County, and will provide attendees with valuable health information and available area health services. Sponsored by the Bellevue alumnae chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority, the fair will help people to make informed health choices.

The Bellevue Parks and Community Services Cultural Diversity Program and Crossroads Bellevue are cosponsors with Delta Sigma Theta for the entire event.
