Your Mediators

The mediators of Bellevue's Neighborhood Mediation program are from the Bellevue community – they are your fellow citizens. They are men and women of public spirit who volunteer their time to help you resolve disputes.

Our mediators come from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds. They have no personal stake in the cases they mediate, so they can facilitate a fair and impartial process.

Joann Bromberg

Our mediators are well trained –- they take our 40-hour mediation training, and then participate in the mediation practicum, a hands-on learning experience where new mediators co-mediate with experienced mentors. A community of peacemakers, the men and women on the Neighborhood Mediation team have mediated hundreds of neighborhood disputes.
