Kiting indoors: no wind, no problem

Flying a kite. That’s what they’re doing at Crossroads Community Center, and they don’t even have to go outside to do it. In this month’s "Lake to Lake" news show, indoor kite-flying is profiled, along with a makeover of Lake Hills arterial 145th Place Southeast.

"Lake to Lake," which can be seen via a YouTube version or on Bellevue TV (Channel 21), is produced and hosted by city communications staff, with help from Bellevue College students. Other segments on the program include:

  • Working out cost savings on East Link light rail with Sound Transit;
  •  Staying with the county for animal control services;
  • The arts and crafts fairs that draw 300,000 people to downtown Bellevue
