Interim Men's Shelter
Since 2008, Bellevue has hosted a low-barrier winter shelter for men experiencing homelessness. Each year, beginning in November, Congregations for the Homeless opens the shelter, providing a safe and warm place to sleep, meals and a connection to services necessary to begin a path out of homelessness.
The shelter does not have a permanent home, and has had to move to several locations over the years. The 2016 location is Lincoln Center, 555 116th Ave. NE. The shelter opened on November 15, 2016, and will be open through April 2017.
Men at the shelter receive additional day services, including access showers, laundry, computers, case management, clothing, bus tickets and hygiene products.
Congregations for the Homeless has more information about the interim shelter.
