The death of a 33-year-old Bellevue man found at the Unigard Office Park Tuesday afternoon is now considered a homicide. Preliminary investigations suggest violence was involved in the death, although the actual cause has not yet been made public.
Bellevue Police investigators continue to study the victim's background and reconstruct the events leading to his death.
The last homicide in Bellevue occurred in October of 2006. The violent crime rate remains very low for a city the size of Bellevue, with the large majority of victims knowing their assailant.
The investigation began the afternoon of March 21, when Bellevue Police received a 911 call from an employee who saw the victim's body at the office park.
