Next week there will be lane closures on Interstate 405 just south of Interstate 90, as well as closures on on-ramps and Coal Creek Parkway, as crews working for the state Department of Transportation prepare to widen the northbound I-405 bridge over Coal Creek Parkway.
- At night, Monday through Thursday (July 23-26), two northbound lanes and a southbound lane on I-405 will be closed.
- On Tuesday night, the northbound on-ramp from 112th Avenue Southeast will be closed.
- Also on Tuesday night, the northbound exit to Coal Creek Parkway will be closed.
- All lanes of Coal Creek Parkway under I-405 will be closed on Monday night.
As part of a project to add high-occupancy vehicle lanes to I-90 across Lake Washington, WSDOT crews have closed the I-90 bike path near Bellevue Way. The section of the path under I-90 (between Enatai Beach Park and the South Bellevue Park-and-Ride) was scheduled to be closed for up to 10 days, from July 16 to Wednesday, July 25.
A signed detour follows Southeast 34th Street and 112th Avenue to Bellevue Way at the South Bellevue Park-and-Ride.
More details about these closures, as well as news about other construction that will have an impact on traffic are available in Bellevue's traffic advisory.
