This morning at approximately 2:35 a.m. Police responded to 911 calls regarding a man with a knife at the Chevron Station in the 1600 block of Bellevue Way S.E. Witnesses said a male had a large knife and was threatening them.
Three officers arrived quickly and were confronted by the suspect with a large knife. There was a confrontation, shots were fired which resulted in the suspect being killed.
CPR was administered at the scene but the suspect was pronounced dead. The name of the deceased will be released by the King County Medical Examiner Office.
The investigation continues as detectives try to determine details of the incident. More information about the suspect and circumstances of the shooting will be released when available.
