Annexation highlights eventful year

With the annexation of four neighborhoods, Bellevue welcomed more than 5,400 new residents to the city in 2012.

The South Bellevue Annexation is one of several highlights featured in this month's year-in-review edition of the "Lake to Lake" news show, available on the city's YouTube channel, in the Bellevue TV archive, and on Channel 21.

Other 2012 highlights featured on the show include the swearing in of Bellevue's first minority mayor, the city's biennial sculpture exhibition, and a high school football championship.

"Lake to Lake" is created and produced by city staff with help from Bellevue College students. This month's host is Robin Haaseth, with the Parks & Community Services Department.
