Isolation & Disconnection from Nature

Artist's Statement:

"Isolation & Disconnection from Nature" is the first in my 3D “green” environmental series. This sculpture reveals my belief in mankind’s isolation. A phenomenon of the past and this young, new century, this partial or complete separation between humans and nature, provokes an impossibility to understand and fully care for our surroundings. In many situations, we blindly forget our interconnectedness to the world and to one another. I work on this ongoing series to help provoke a reaction to this separateness and to enact a conscious process of becoming genuinely connected with our planet Earth.
