Bel-Red Area Transformation

Steering Committee

To ensure the involvement of affected members of the public in the Bel-Red Corridor planning process, the City Council appointed a steering committee made up of community stakeholders, including city board and commission members, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce, former City Council members and area residents.

From October 2005 to September 2007, the Bel-Red Steering Committee met nearly 20 times to draft plan alternatives for the area. On Sept. 24, 2007, the Steering Committee presented its recommendations to the City Council. The Committee is no longer active. Meetings
