520 bridge closed this weekend |
|
The state Department of Transportation has announced that the State Route 520 bridge will close this weekend for construction related of a new bridge and related highway improvements. Crews will install a dozen huge concrete girders on the Eastside. SR 520 will close at 11 p.m., Friday, until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and Interstate 405 in Bellevue. Drivers should plan ahead with alternate routes and prepare for possible delays. |
