Bellevue Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed the Nordstrom store at Bellevue Square Friday night. The suspect is described as a black man in his late 30s or early 40s, last seen wearing a black beanie, large glasses, a blue and plaid shirt and jeans that were faded in the back.
At 8:13 p.m., Friday, police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Nordstrom. The clerk at the customer service desk reported that the suspect approached the desk, displayed a firearm in his waistband and demanded cash.
The suspect fled out the west door of the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. An immediate check of the area by officers did not locate the suspect.
The police have released a composite drawing of the robber and a still from surveillance video. Anyone with information about this case or person, or who may have seen the man in the west parking garage of the Bellevue Square mall, is asked to contact the Bellevue Police at 425-452-6917.
